Wednesday, April 11, was VIP (Very Important Person) Day at Lending Hands Adult Day Center in Washington. Sixty-seven participants and guests attended. Henry Eicher provided musical entertainment and the guests enjoyed refreshments and conversation.
Lending Hands holds their VIP Day once in the spring and once in the fall. Participants have the opportunity to select the friends and/or family members they would like to invite to the event. There are currently 34 active participants receiving daytime services at the Center.
Lending Hands Adult Day Center ensures that individuals who need assistance and involvement during the day enjoy a renewed sense of independence while receiving the support and encouragement they need. It also provides valuable support and respite for families caring for loved ones who require special care.
