Three injured during accident Saturday

Three people were transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City after a rollover accident on Wayland Road near 305th Street.

According to the Washington County call log, a one-vehicle rollover accident was reported at 9:02 p.m., Saturday, June 2. Two subjects were reported trapped and one subject was ejected from the vehicle and the caller was unable to locate them. An officer later located the subject 20 feet from the vehicle.

Officers, Washington Fire Department, Washington County Rescue, Washington County Ambulance, two AirCare helicopters and the Iowa State Patrol responded. Craig Allen Ross Lillie of Washington was the operator of the vehicle. Washington County Ambulance transported two subjects to the hospital, while AirCare transported a third. The vehicle was towed.

The Iowa State Patrol is investigating the accident.
