Amy Marie Kramer, 38, of Ainsworth, was arrested Wednesday night in the 200 block of North Railroad Street in Ainsworth on a Washington County warrant for prescription drug violation, first offense.


 


Traffic accident


A caller Wednesday morning in the 100 block of South Iowa Avenue in Washington reported that a vehicle backed into a parked vehicle. There were no injuries. Damages were less than $1,500. A state report will be filed. Virginia McCurdy, of Washington, was cited for unsafe backing.


A caller Wednesday morning in the 200 block of West Madison Street in Washington reported a two-vehicle accident that happened on South Avenue B. Both vehicle had pulled into a commercial parking lot. An officer responded. Damages were under $1,500, and drivers? information was exchanged. Dema Mattocks, of Washington, was cited for failure to yield upon entering a through highway.


A caller Wednesday evening in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported that his vehicle was struck by another vehicle in a parking lot. There were no injuries. An officer responded. The accident occurred on private property. Information was exchanged between both parties.


 


Traffic other


A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 1500 block of North Second Avenue in Washington reported a white Ford with no license plates parked for nine weeks without being moved. An officer responded. Tires were chalked and the vehicle was tagged.


An officer reported being out with a subject in the alley about a parking issue, Wednesday night in the 200 block of North Railroad Street in Ainsworth. The subject moved the vehicle. No further problems were expected.


 


Disabled vehicles


A caller reported running out of gas while traveling southbound, Wednesday night in the 2800 block of Highway 218 in Crawfordsville. An officer responded and assisted the subject in getting gas.


 


Animal complaint


A caller Wednesday morning in the 2900 block of Dogwood Avenue in Brighton reported that a few goats were on the bridge and were almost struck by a vehicle. Contact was made with the owner of the goats, and they were contained back in their area.


 


Civil standby


A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 1600 block of Highway 1 in Washington requested a civil standby to pick up items from a residence. The civil standby was completed.


 


Vandalism


A caller reported a window broken out of a minivan, Wednesday afternoon in the 500 block of 13th Street in Wellman. An officer responded. Someone working in the area saw it broken about 9:30 to 10 a.m. It was reported for documentation purposes.


 


All other offenses


A caller Wednesday night at B Avenue and Fifth Street in Kalona reported a white ice cream truck without a permit in Kalona. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate the vehicle.
