Danyelek Figueroa, 23, of Washington, was arrested Monday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington on a Johnson County warrant for failure to appear for a mittimus on OWI, first offense.


Andrew Marshall Pearcy, 28, of Brighton, was arrested Monday night in the 100 block of North Taylor Street in Brighton on charges of two counts of domestic abuse first offense, fifth-degree criminal mischief, two counts of assault on peace officer, disorderly conduct and interference with official acts causing bodily injury.


Traffic accident


A caller Monday afternoon in the 300 block of East Second Street in Washington reported that a vehicle struck a parked car in front of the residence. The suspect vehicle?s bumper and license plate were left at the scene. Officers responded. Barbara Lamar, of Washington, was cited for failure to maintain control. A state report was filed.


Animal complaint


A caller Monday night in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona requested a welfare check on multiple dogs inside a trailer. Neighbors were advising that no one had been to the trailer in two days. An officer responded and made contact with the dog owners, who were taking care of the dogs in the evening.


Assault


A caller Monday afternoon in the 400 block of B Avenue in Kalona reported that her boyfriend assaulted her. An officer responded. The male subject left before the officer arrived. The incident was verbal only. The caller was advised to obtain a no-contact order. She would have a friend pick her up.


Family offense nonviolent


A caller Monday morning in the 600 block of Lincoln Street in Ainsworth reported a possible violation of a custody order, and requested to speak with a deputy. The violation occurred in Henry County. The information was documented only.


Illegal dumping


A caller Monday morning in the 2500 block of 305th Street in Washington reported illegal dumping in Sockum Ridge Park. Charges will be filed.


Intimidation/harassment


A caller Monday morning in the 700 block of A Avenue in Kalona reported being harassed by the female whom he lives with, and requested to speak with a deputy. An officer spoke with the caller, who was advised to get a no-contact order.


Sexual assault


A caller Monday morning in the 2100 block of Lexington Boulevard in Washington reported a sexual assault in Washington County. A report will be filed.

Suspicious activity


A caller Monday afternoon at East Main Street and North Iowa Avenue in Washington reported that a subject was walking around the square, cursing loudly. The subject was dressed in all blue and had a large brown dog with him. An officer checked the area and was unable to locate the subject.


A caller reported suspicious activity, Monday night in the 800 block of South Ninth Avenue in Washington. Officers responded and were unable to locate anything.


Trespass


A caller Monday night in the 1000 block of Jefferson Washington Road in Richland reported that subjects were on the property and did not have permission to be on the property. An officer spoke to the caller. Subjects were fine and they were picking old sweet corn.


A caller Tuesday morning in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington reported a trespass, and requested an officer. An officer responded and cited Amy Marie Kramer, of Ainsworth, into court for trespass, first offense.


Welfare check


A caller early Tuesday morning in the 800 block of 14th Street in Wellman requested a welfare check. An officer responded. Everything was fine.


All other theft


A caller Monday morning in the 1000 block of Walnut Avenue in Riverside reported the theft of a bicycle from his stall in the residence parking area sometime on Sunday. It was a Trek FX 3, black, with 15-inch rim. A report will be filed. The bicycle was entered into the system.


A caller Monday afternoon in the 2300 block of Underwood Avenue in Ainsworth reported that someone possibly took both license plates off his vehicle sometime during the weekend. One plate had the wrong sticker on it. Documentation was made. The license plates were entered as stolen.


A caller Monday night in the 1500 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported a gas drive-off of $40.04 worth of fuel. Contact was made with the driver, who agreed to contact the convenience store and make arrangements for payment.


All other offenses


A caller Monday morning in the 1000 block of West Monroe Street in Riverside reported that a bicycle was left at her residence Sunday. It was a Huffy Trail Runner girls? bicycle and looked brand-new. The caller was going to leave it by the back door. An officer transported the bicycle to the bike shed. It was black and turquoise in color.
