Cynthia Ann Wooldridge, 41, of Kalona, was arrested Wednesday afternoon in the 200 block of A Avenue in Kalona on a charge of trespass.
Andrew Pearson, 34, of Tipton, was arrested Thursday morning in the 4500 block of Melrose Avenue in Iowa City on a Washington County warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of possession of marijuana, second offense.
A caller Wednesday afternoon at South Fourth Avenue and East Madison Street in Washington reported that a Hispanic male was driving a red Chevrolet Cavalier backward on the one-way street. The vehicle was then parked on East Madison. An officer located the vehicle but was unable to locate the driver at the residences.
An officer reported being out with a disabled vehicle, Wednesday afternoon at Highway 1 and 220th Street in Washington. A subject was working on changing a tire. The officer planned to check back on him later.
A caller Wednesday night in the 1700 block of Black Diamond Road Southwest in Oxford reported a strange odor in the house. All subjects were outside. Kalona Fire and Kalona QRS responded and assisted Johnson County.
A caller Wednesday morning in the 500 block of West Fifth Street in Washington reported that 10 minutes earlier, while he was walking on the Kewash Trail, a brown-and-white pitbull came after him and bit his shorts. It did not break the skin. It was also growling at him. An officer responded and made contact with the dog owner, who denied that their dog was out. A civil infraction will be issued.
A caller Wednesday morning in the 2400 block of Highway 92 in Washington reported a dog locked in a car in the parking lot. An officer checked the area, and the vehicle was already gone.
A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 2100 block of 315th Street in Washington reported an injured deer and requested a tag. An officer responded. A deer tag was issued to a Wellman resident.
Dispatch received reports of two juvenile subjects who were banging on the windows of a building, Wednesday morning in the 100 block of West Washington Street in Washington. They were not supposed to be there. An officer responded. The juveniles denied knocking on the windows. They were advised not to return. The parents were notified. Both juveniles were charged with disorderly conduct.
A large male subject wearing shorts and a tank top was reported standing in the yard, yelling obscenities at someone in an upstairs apartment, Wednesday afternoon in the 1300 block of North Avenue D in Washington. There was a white SUV waiting for him. Officers located the subjects and spoke with them.
Family offense nonviolent
A caller Wednesday evening in the 900 block of South 10th Avenue in Washington requested an officer at the residence in reference to a family situation over custody of their child. An officer responded. Both parents will contact their attorneys over the situation.
A caller Wednesday night in the 500 block of South 11th Avenue in Washington reported that his parents were fighting with the other two children, and the mother was pushing one of them. Officers responded. The family situation had calmed down.
Henry County advised of a domestic situation, Wednesday night in the 3300 block of Redwood Avenue in Mount Pleasant. Children were present, and it was unknown if the altercation was verbal or physical. An officer and an Iowa State Patrol unit responded and spoke with both parties, and they advised it was verbal only.
A caller Wednesday morning in the 800 block of Fourth Street in Kalona reported that a subject opened a Lowe?s card and attempted to open a Starbucks Reward card with his private information. An officer spoke with the caller. He was advised to contact his bank and the Social Security Administration. He was able to cancel both of the accounts without any loss of funds.
A new sex offender registry in Washington County was reported Wednesday morning in the 100 block of East Washington Street in Brighton.
A caller Wednesday morning in the 100 block of First Street in Kalona reported a male subject behind Bulltown Plaza who was in a sleeping bag. An officer responded. The subject was given a ride to the Keokuk County line, as he was trying to make it to Des Moines.
A caller Thursday morning in the 200 block of East Fifth Street in Washington reported that the side mirror of her vehicle was broken off and smashed. An officer was advised for documentation.
A caller Wednesday morning in the 1100 block of East Tyler Street in Washington reported that her son and his wife were in a verbal argument. There was a 1-year-old child in the home whom she was concerned about. An officer responded and made contact with both parties. The incident was verbal only. The grandfather was watching over the infant.

A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 300 block of East Washington Street in Washington reported a possible theft from the business. The subject had left in a red Chevrolet Impala. An officer responded and advised them of their options and to call in the next time when it was happening.

A caller Wednesday morning in the 600 block of Highway 1 in Washington reported that she lost her black-and-white wallet on July 19 while at the fair. Contents included her birth certificate, Social Security card, ID, debit and credit card. The debit card and the credit card had both been canceled. An officer was advised for documentation purposes.
A caller Wednesday afternoon in the 600 block of E Avenue in Kalona reported that a vehicle was parked by the air pumps on the side of the building. A male subject had been asleep in the vehicle since noon and had not moved. An officer checked on the subject. There was no problem. The subject was sleeping.
