Starting next Monday people can file nomination forms to run for a county office in the June primary.
?This is for all Democrats, Libertarians and Republicans,? Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer said.
The nominations are for the offices of county attorney, recorder, treasurer and two supervisor seats ? District 3 and District 5, he added. Abe Miller is currently on the Board of Supervisors representing District 3 and Richard Young represents District 5.
People wishing to file the nomination forms for the primary on June 5 will need to have a signature page filled out and an affadavit of their candidacy, Widmer said. They have until March 28 to hand them into the auditor?s office.
