Washington County 4-H will be starting a new Clover Kid Club serving the Wellman area. Clover Kids is a 4-H program for youth in kindergarten-to third-grade that fosters positive relationships and builds valuable life skills through a variety of hands-on activities involved STEM, literacy, healthy living, and communication. There are currently seven Clover Kids clubs in Washington County, with the eighth to begin in Wellman.
The Wellman Clover Kids will meet Nov. 27, at 6:30 p.m. at the Asbury Methodist Church in Wellman. This club will traditionally meet the fourth Monday of the month with leadership from volunteers Elley Gould, Kristy Lowenberg and Emily Baetsle. All youth and parents interested in the new Clover Kids club are encouraged to attend.
