Motorcyclist injured in collision with deer

WEST CHESTER ? An unnamed man was reportedly injured early Sunday when a motorcycle he was driving collided with a deer at Ginkgo Avenue and 200th Street in West Chester.

According to the Washington County call log, the subject reported to the Washington County Communications Center at 5:26 a.m. that he believed he had at least broken his leg in the accident. The subject was unable to move all the way off the roadway. Officers, Washington County Ambulance, and West Chester QRS responded. The subject was transported to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
