Mary J. Gibson, 70, of Washington, died Monday, March 26, 2018, at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

Mary was born February 12, 1948 in Shawnee, Okla., to Milfred and Lueta (Anderson) Kellerby. She attended high school in College Springs, graduating from Yates Center Kansas in 1966. She also attended Southeast Missouri State University. Mary married Gerald Gibson on June 6, 1981, in Neodesha, Kan.
Mary was a homemaker and she bred and showed rabbits and dogs. She was a member of the Churches of God in Finley, Ohio, Brighton First Church of God, and Prairie Flower Baptist Church and Faith Baptist Church in Washington.
Survivors include daughter, Wendy (Randy) Thomas of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Erick (Kim) Gibson of Iowa City, Iowa; three grandchildren; one step-grandchild; one great-grandson; brother, Phillip Kellerby of Tulsa, Okla.; and sister, Ruth (Steve) Williams of Independence, Kan..
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband in 2017; and brother, Bob Kellerby
