A man wanted by Washington County was arrested Tuesday night in Burlington and is being extradited to Washington County to be held under a $5,000 bond.

According to the Washington County call log, Adam Robert Cloyed, 29, of Fort Madison, was arrested at 9:44 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of North Third Street in Burlington on a Washington County warrant for second degree theft and shoplifting. Second degree theft is a Class D felony that can bring up to five years in prison and a fine between $750 and $7,500.

A hold was placed on Cloyed because Des Moines County had local charges on him.
