MT. PLEASANT ? A Washington man pleaded guilty in Henry County Court for failure to provide registration card and provide proof of financial liability.

Court documents show Cameron Brighton, of Washington, was fined $250 for the offense. During a traffic stop he was also cited for driving under suspension, a simple misdemeanor.

A news release from the Henry County Sheriff?s office reports that on Saturday, Aug. 25, the office received a driving complaint at 11:10 p.m. in the 1300 grid of Highway 34 eastbound of a vehicle weaving all over the roadway and down into the median. Deputies responded and observed similar driving patterns. A traffic stop was conducted on the vehicle on exit 234 of Highway 34 into Mt. Pleasant. Upon investigation, it was reported Bright had a suspended driver?s license and could not provide registration or insurance for the vehicle.
