Kimberly Sue Campbell, 45, of Iowa City, died Thursday, July 12, 2018, at the McCreedy Home in Washington.
She was born February 3, 1973, to Walter Dean and Joyce Deann Simpson Campbell. She grew up in Olds, attended Waco and graduated from Washington High School in 1991. She worked at Vangent in Iowa City and most recently at Mayor's Youth Empowerment Program in Iowa City.
Kim is survived by her sons: Terrance Campbell, Donnie Day and Jonte Day, all of Iowa City; her father, Walter Campbell (Nancy Mattocks), Wayland; siblings: Kathy Wagamon (Duane), Brighton and Jeremy Campbell (Jamie), Wayland; grandmother, Lucille Campbell, Trenton; and a large extended family.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Campbell and an infant niece, Hannah.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday July 19, 2018, at the First Church of God with Pastor Rick Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Brighton. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the First Church of God. Memorials to the family may be mailed to the family at: 3211 Gingko Avenue, Brighton, IA 52585. Gould Funeral Home of Brighton is assisting the family.
