By David Hotle, The JOURNAL

A Kalona woman was arrested Friday evening after allegedly threatening to injure her children, according to the Washington County call log.

The log reports that a caller reported at 8:20 p.m. Friday that her client sent her screen shots of messages from the mother of his children, threatening to injure their kids.

A deputy was requested to check on this.

Jessica Jean Morales, 31, of Kalona, was arrested for first-degree harassment.

The officer contacted the Department of Human Serrvices and the children were put in protective custody.
