Illinois man arrested for OWI, drugs

AINSWORTH ? A traffic stop Saturday morning at the Ainsworth Four-corners led to the arrest of an Illinois man for prescription drugs, marijuana and ecstasy.

According to the Washington County call log, Curtis T. Ford, 23, of Illinois, was arrested at 9:57 a.m., Saturday at 3112 Highway 92 in Ainsworth for OWI first offense and unlawful possession of prescription drugs. He was later charged with possession of a controlled substance marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of possession of ecstasy and contraband inside a correctional facility.

Ford was stopped after dispatch received a report of a vehicle that was driving erratically westbound from Columbus Junction. The vehicle reportedly almost caused an accident while passing a semi in a no-passing zone.
