The Washington Police Department was called Tuesday evening to round up about a dozen sheep that had gotten out of their fence at 2140 W. Main St.
According tot he Washington County call log, at 8 p.m. a caller reported 10 to 12 sheep were out on the roadway. City units responded and checked the area for sheep. The sheep were located and taken back to their pasture. The owner was informed and responded to make sure the fence was fixed.
