Dennler named Miss Junior Iowa Rodeo 2018

Zoey Dennler was recently crowned Miss Junior Iowa Rodeo 2018 at the official coronation for Miss Rodeo Iowa, Jenna Kool. Dennler won the title during the Miss Rodeo Iowa, Miss Teen Rodeo Iowa and Miss Junior Iowa Rodeo pageant held in conjunction with the Tri-State Rodeo in Fort Madison in September.

Zoey is the 12-year-old daughter of Darren and Karen Dennler of Crawfordsville. She is currently a sixth-grade honor student at WACO Elementary School. Zoey stays active during the school year by participating in basketball, softball and volleyball. She also enjoys playing her viola for the school orchestra.

Outside of school, Zoey is involved in numerous activities. She has participated in dance and tumbling for eight years, six years of which have been competitive dancing. She enjoys working with the Crawfordsville Community Club, volunteering at Paws and More, and attending St. James Catholic Church. She is also a third-year member of the Green Acres 4-H Club and the Horse and Pony Club. She also spends time as a member of the Lake Darling Saddle Club, the National Wild Turkey Federation, Pheasants Forever, American Legion Auxiliary Post 352, and the Miniature Horse Association.

Throughout 2018, Zoey will travel throughout Iowa, promoting the sport of professional rodeo, animal welfare, agriculture, and the ?western lifestyle? in Iowa.
