The Washington Demons boy?s basketball would lose its home opener against Muscatine Friday evening.
During the first quarter, Washington would try to keep Muscatine?s Joe Wieskamp from getting the ball, but couldn?t hold him back.
At the end of the first quarter, Muscatine would break away and score 18 points. Washington would score five.
In the second quarter, it was much of the same. Washington would score six and Muscatine would score 23. In the third quarter, Washington would get and additional eight points on the board. Muscatine would add 22 points to their score.
In the fourth quarter, Washington would keep Muscatine from scoring anymore points and would add four points to their total ending the game at 23 points altogether. Muscatine would have have 63 points.
Cale Hobscheidt would score the most for Washington with six points. Dalton Myers would follow with four points and Jacob Van Osdol would score three points.
Washington will take to the court this Friday at home against Fairfield.
