The White Cloud Club met Tuesday, Feb. 6, at 11:30 a.m., for lunch at the Ainsworth Four Corners with seven members in attendance.


Jolene Colthurst opened the meeting reading ?Love? from a book called Be My Valentine.


Members answered roll call by telling about their special Valentine time.


The secretary and treasurer?s report was given by Pat Miller. Old and new business was discussed.


Those attending were Jolene Colthurst, Joyce Huff, Betty Lintz, Betty Lucas, Pat Miller Pauline Richardson and Shannon Sells.


The next meeting is ?Date Night? on March 6 at 6p.m., for dinner at El Oasis in Winfield.


A reminder that the Crawfordsville Lions will be sponsoring a Pancake Supper on Saturday, Feb. 17, from 4-7 p.m. at the WACO Elementary Building in Crawfordsville. Pancakes, eggs and sausage will be served. Proceeds will go to supporting local projects, including Lara Hochstetler, who is doing mission work. Tickets may be purchased from any Lions member or Agri Way Partners in Crawfordsville.


The Ainsworth Community Church will have an Ash Wednesday service on Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m., led by Linda McNeil and Karen Megchelson, and has asked the United Church of Crawfordsville to join them. Pancakes will be served in their Fellowship Hall at 6:30 p.m. for anyone who wishes to join them.


The Wyman Club will attempt to meet on Monday, March 5, at Ainsworth Four Corners at 11:30 a.m. for lunch. Bad weather kept the crowd very slim this past Monday.
