Couple announces their marriage

Lauren Vittetoe, of Washington, and Ben Obermann, of Cresco, exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, at St. James Catholic Church with The Rev. Bernie Weir officiating.

Lauren is the daughter of Don and Alicia Vittetoe, of Washington, and Ben is the son of Jim and Deb Obermann of Cresco.

Maid of honor was Emily Vittetoe, sister of the bride.

Bridemaids were Lauren Kerian, sister of bridegroom, Lauren Roder, Regan Enfield and Taylor Shull. The flower girl was Brinley Housel, cousin of the bride. Personal attendant was Savannah Scarborough.

Best man was Andrew Wilbur.

Groomsmen were Aaron Vittetoe, brother of the bride, Ben Kerns, Jared Waddle, Thomas Weber and Mitch Patrikus.

Ushers were Tyler Wedemeier, Garrison Carder and Lane Ranck.

A reception was held at Knights of Columbus Hall in Washington.

Lauren graduated with a BA degree from AIB in Des Moines. She is an insurance agent with Vittetoe Insurance in Washington. Ben graduated from Luther College in Decorah. He is a high school English teacher and coach at Washington High School.

The couple honeymooned in Arizona for six days and are making their home in Washington.
