Conservation Center has openings for mink camp

The Washington County Conservation Board still has openings for its Mink Day Camp.

Mink Camp is designed for students entering 5th through 7th grade.

This nature camp is designed around the natural world at Marr Park and will be fun as well as educational.

Activities will include hikes, games, crafts, fishing, and exploration. Participants will also create their own camp t-shirt. Refreshments will be served each day.The camp theme this year is Travels Through Time.

We will explore Iowa?s past, present and hope for the future.

Also included will be survival activities and canoeing. Cost is $30 per student with scholarships available. Camp runs Monday ? Friday, 9 a.m. till noon, from July 23 ? 27 at Marr Park.
