The meeting of the Washington County Horse and Pony Club was called to order by Club President Austin Stalder at 7:07 p.m. on April 25, with 17 members and nine guests in attendance.
The meeting started with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Taylor Moore. A dates and deadlines sheet put together by the club?s leader Jessica Read was handed out, and members were reminded of the upcoming livestock identification deadline. Members who participated in the clinic with veterinarians from Schlapkohl Veterinary clinics shared their experiences, and primary members were reminded to sign up for a T-shirt sponsored by Federation Bank. Members were reminded to think of problems to work on at the May 24 clinic set to begin at 7 p.m. on the fairgrounds. An October driving clinic was discussed, and the club decided to make it open to local 4-H?ers and the community. The meeting ended with the 4-H Pledge led by Joselyn Myers. Alison Lucas motioned to adjourn the meeting and the motion was seconded by Joselyn Myers.
