The regular meeting of the Green Acres 4-H Club was held at 5 p.m.,on April 22. The Meeting was called to order by Secretary Baylee Stalder. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Zoey Dennler. Roll call was ?what do you cook/bake best?? It was answered by 12 members. The Secretary?s report was read and the Treasurer was absent so no report was given.
For old business, the club will work in the concession stand for the Brighton Saddle Club on Saturday, June 23 at 4 p.m. Members from the club also discussed their experiences with the flower workshop that was held before the meeting. The club was reminded that the pancake breakfast is on April 28 and acknowledged those who were helping with the breakfast. Other reminders included? signing up for a free 4-H t-shirt sponsored by Federation Bank and the deadline to sign up livestock for the fair is May 15. Tanya Stalder shared that there will be a record book and livestock worksheet workshop on May 20th at 4:15pm for Green Acres members looking for help. The club will also work on the club pride board and take a club picture during the June meeting. The club was also reminded to bring their candy for the EMS week goodies bags that they will work on during the May meeting.
Zoey Dennler motioned to adjourn the meeting and it was seconded by Bailey Rees. The 4-H pledge was led by Hannah Rogers. Presentations were then given by Melissa Stakland about cupcakes, Zoey Dennler about oyster crackers, Audrey Smith about popsicle stick picture frames, Brynn Northup about Simmental and Angus Cattle, Hannah Rogers about Sloths, Ally Rees about How to Eat Healthy, and Bailey Reese about Generations. The next meeting will be on May 20th. The hostess will be Hannah Rogers and Paige Malichky.
