The Presbyterian Women?s Circle met on Wednesday, April 11, with 11 members in attendance and Kay Hall as hostess.
Kitch Shatzer opened the meeting with prayer. Betty Beenblossom led the business meeting. The Special Offering was collected for the ONEighty Teen Center. It was announced that the spring workshop would be held in Columbus Junction Saturday, April 21. Reservations need to be sent to Kay Hall by the 20.
Plans were discussed for the Spring Salad Luncheon which will be at 11:45 a.m., on May 2, at the Presbyterian Church. Rick Fulton will speak on Mission Mobility. Plans were also made for the Brownlee Hymn Sing, which will be held at 2:30 p.m. on May 1.
Julia Gamon updated the members on the Corresponding Missionary, Tom Johnson. Vivian Griffith led the study.
The next PW Circle meeting will be held on May 9, with Kitch Shatzer as hostess. Jane Fehr will lead devotions and Julia Gamon will have the study.
