Sacha Club of Ainsworth met at the Ainsworth Community Church on March 26.
Ten members attended. Prior to the business meeting the eggs and gift bags were prepared for the Easter Egg Hunt to be held at Marr Park on Saturday, March 31.
Karen Megchelsen, president, conducted the business meeting.
Plans were finalized for the Easter Egg Hunt. The five yard signs for the Ainsworth community will be placed around town to promote this project. All members were to provide 3 dozen cookies. The costs for this project are provided by Sacha Club, the Margene Erlenbush memorial fund and a donation from the City of Ainsworth.
Rachel Carstensen reported that the Sacha Scholarship form has been sent to Highland Community School. Applications are due April 21. The applicants must be graduating from Highland, reside in the Ainsworth community, and have a GPA of 2.5 or above.
Rocky Roberts presented information regarding the April 21 field trip to Kalona. Members will car pool from the Ainsworth Community Church at 8:15 a.m. Discussion held about places to visit.
Sacha Club will provide the meal for the Highland Outreach Program at Town View Village on April 11.
Discussion was held regarding the menu. Liz Kaufman, Linda McNeil, Rocky Roberts and Linda Lord will finalize the plans and host this program.
Deb Gilchrist provided refreshments at the close of the business meeting.
The next meeting will be a field trip to Kalona on April 21.
