Washington Chapter DL / T.T.T. met on March 12, at the home of Janet Peterson. Co-hostess was Gretchen Mangold. Twelve members attended.

A Memorial Service preceded the meeting for former members Mary Soper and Kate Ross. Mary and Kate had been active members for many years.

Lea Smothers presented four special pillowcases that she had made for the club?s 2018 campers. Camper selection will be done in April. Camp is held in June at Camp Wyoming near Wyoming.

The nut sales fund raiser has continued to do well. ?Thank you? to all members, associates, and businesses that have supported our nut sales this year. We have adequate funds to send four girls to camp this summer.

Janet Peterson, vice president and Linda McNeil, secretary, presented the chapter bylaws revisions required to comply with the national bylaw changes made at national convention in October 2017.

Janet and Linda also reviewed the standing rules and recommended several changes. The revisions for bylaws and standing rules were approved.

Members were reminded that the national newsletter will only be available on the national website and they should register at that site to receive the March Tidings. The club?s officers can share the national emailed Tidings via email to members.

Two names were proposed for membership. Kim Prier, corresponding secretary, will send them a T.T.T. letter of invitation for membership. Discussion held regarding initiation of new members in May. Linda McNeil will reserve the Washington County Conservation Center if it is available for the May meeting.

The next meeting will be April 9 at the home of Robyn Lamb. Members who want to car pool should meet at the home of Phyllis Eisele at 6:40 p.m. Co-hostess for April is Phyllis Elsele.
