The Mullikin family held their annual reunion on Aug. 18. It was held at the Rubio Community Center, with 16 people attending.
They arrived from Ainsworth, Batavia, Brighton, Cedar Rapids, Douds, Muscatine and Packwood. The family discussed and tried to identify a lot of old photographs. Plans are already underway for next year?s reunion.
Pat Remington, of Brighton, met her daughter Angela and Tony Garmoe with James and Christopher, of Mount Pleasant, on Aug. 17. Christopher returned to Brighton with Pat to spend the night. On Aug. 18, they went to Rubio to pick up friend Nita. They went on to Oskaloosa and stopped at the home of Christopher?s brother, Cody and Mackenzie. They all attended the state fair. They returned to Oskaloosa late that night. Chris and Pat took Nita to Rubio and returned to Brighton. Chris returned home on Aug. 19.
Pat Remington met her daughter Angela and Tony Garmoe with James and Christopher, of Mount Pleasant, on Aug. 22 in Fairfield. They enjoyed dining at Riverside III.
Winifred Fritz enjoyed visits from her daughters on Aug. 19. Lucy Dietzman with Brenden and Malcolm, of Keosauqua, spent the afternoon and evening.
They were joined by Mary Boatright, of Fairfield.
The Krony Krew Club met on Aug. 22 at the home of Shirley Schooley, in Brighton. Elaine Andeway, Shirley VanDee and Barb Hall, all of Richland, were their guests.
Bridge was played at two tables. Their next meeting will be held Sept. 12 at the home of Dorothy Miller in Washington.
