Tony and Angela Garmoe, of Mount Pleasant, visited her mother, Plat Remington, on July 4. They enjoyed dining at Riverside Casino, shopping in Iowa City and dining at Riverside III in Fairfield before returning home.
Pat Remington met her sister Kathy, of Chariton, with friend Wayne, in Ottumwa on July 5. They enjoyed dining at Sirloin Stockade.
Sister Janet Kreber, of Sioux City, arrived at the home of friend Winifred Fritz on June 30. Sister Janet attended Mass with Winifred, visited friends in the area and spent the nights at Winifred?s home. Sister Janet returned home on July 3.
Providing the evening meal of July 1 at Winifred?s home were her children Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth, of Fairfield, and Tony and Lynn Fritz.
Greg Fritz with daughter Tricia Copeland with Kellen and Madden, of Fairfield, visited his mother, Winifred, on July 2. They enjoyed lunch. Greg and Madden went fishing. Kellen stayed with his great-grandma and read books.
On July 4, Charles and Debi Fritz had a potluck and cookout at their home in Sigourney. Among the guests were his brother, Tony and Lyn Fritz, and their mother, Winifred, all of Brighton.
Kim D. Farrier, daughter of Janet and the late Merle Farrier, has recently returned from Cambridge, Massachusetts, where she spent a month at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government for Executive Education. T
he Senior Executive Fellows course covers a range of topics related to leadership, policy making, organizational change, economic development, performance management, negotiation techniques and strategic planning, to name a few.
Kim currently lives in Largo, Florida, where she works for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration.
She specializes in managerial cost accounting and executive decision support systems.
