Winifred Fritz got a surprise visit on June 16. Her daughter, Jane and Virgil Symmonds, of Fairfield, with daughter Rachael Germany with Coraline and Oliver, of Nevada, Iowa, arrived. They prepared and enjoyed the evening meal at Winifred?s home.

Providing the evening meal of June 17 at Winifred?s home were her children Tony and Lynn Fritz, of Brighton, and Mary and Joel Boatright with Bridget Hollingsworth and friend, all of Fairfield.

They also enjoyed fresh strawberries with homemade ice cream.

On June 18 Winifred received a visit from her grandson, Andrew Fritz, of Omaha, Nebraska. Sister Janet Kreber, of Sioux City, called Winifred. She is planning on coming to Brighton on June 30 to visit friends.

Enjoying lunch at the home of Shirley Schooley on June 15 were her daughter-in-law and grandson.

Mary Schooley and Cole are from Vernon Hills, Illinois. They enjoyed viewing the Freedom Rock.

The Krony Krew Club met June 20 at the home of Rose Jaynes. Bridge was played at one table. Their next meeting will be held July 11 at the home of Ginny Brinton.

Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met June 19 at the home of Ginny Brinton. Thirteen members answered roll call. Marcella Loeffler gave the program on the state convention. They will vacation until September, when there will be a social meeting.
