Enjoying the evening meal of March 3 at the Four Corners in Lockridge were Pat Remington, of Brighton, and her daughter Angela and Tony Garmoe with Christopher, of Mount Pleasant.


Providing the evening meal of March 4 at the home of Winifred Fritz were her grandson J.D. Hollingsworth, of Packwood; and her children, Mary and Joel Boatright, and Greg and Deb Fritz, all of Fairfield, and Tony and Lynn Fritz. They spent the evening playing cards.


The Brighton Chamber is sponsoring its annual Easter egg hunt on March 24. It will begin at 10 a.m. at the Brighton Ball park. There will be candy and prizes for several age groups. The four groups are: up to and including preschoolers; kindergartners; first-, second- and third-graders; and fourth- and fifth-graders.


Chapter AQ, P.E.O., met March 6 at the home of Shirley Schooley. Nine members answered roll call. Installation of officers was held. Refreshments were served. The next meeting will be held March 20 at the home of Cindy Guy. Ruth Stacy will be the co-hostess.
