A Christmas get-together was held Dec. 26 at Tasos Steakhouse in Oskaloosa. Those present included Pat Remington, of Brighton, and her daughters, Brandy Poli, of Waukee, and Angela Garmoe and sons James and Christopher, of Mount Pleasant, and Cody and Mackenzie, of Oskaloosa. Also present were Pat?s sisters, Kim Babberl, of Clive, and Pam Mogensen, of Dickson, Tennessee, and their sister-in-law Jenny Babberl with Selena, of Ottumwa.

Joe and Marlene Stufflebeam enjoyed the company of their children, Dec. 24 and 25. Those present were Jeremy and Bethany Horning with Chase, of Tiffin, Cooper Horning and fiancé Will, of Cedar Falls, Chancey and Sarah Stufflebeam with Ava, of Marion, and Cameron Stufflebeam with fiancée Shannon Garretson with Jeneva and Isabel, of Ankeny.

Jamie Roberts and Fred Tustin, of Wayland, hosted a Christmas Day dinner for 11 of her family members. Special guests were her brother, Jason, and their parents, Jerry and Deb, all of Brighton.

Nelson and Jacklyn Smith had 13 guests at their home on Christmas Day. A special guest was his mother, Caryl Smith. Other guests arrived from Keosauqua, Iowa City, Packwood, Burlington, and Brighton.

Caryl also visited friends Cecil Chuck and Stephany Schadt.

Monte Schooley, of Iowa City, spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his mother, Shirley Schooley.

Rita Berry, of Bates City, Missouri, had been staying with her mother, Winifred Fritz. They were joined Dec. 22 by Rita?s husband, Tim, and by the Berrys? son Isaac on Dec. 23. Their daughter Megan and friend arrived Dec. 24. Tony and Lynn Fritz, of Brighton, Tim Berry, and Winifred attended Mass in Richland on Dec. 24. Rita and Winifred attended Mass on Dec. 23.

Forty-eight relatives gathered Dec. 24 for a soup supper at Winifred?s home. All of her eight children and their families were present except nine members. Craig and Sarah Sides and family, of Kansas, and Rachael and Nathan Germany and family, who were in Oklahoma, were unable to attend. A Christmas gift exchange was held Dec. 25 with the Berry family. They returned to Missouri that morning to spend Christmas Day with Tim?s parents in Galt, Missouri. Tim left, and Isaac left just a few minutes before Rita, and then Megan and friend left shortly, following. Winifred spent Christmas Day at the home of her son Tony and Lynn.

Pat Remington enjoyed dining with friends at Pizza Ranch in Mount Pleasant on Dec. 23.
